The annual Seaside Heights Easter Egg Hunt has been rescheduled to Saturday, March 31, at 1 p.m.

According to the Seaside Heights Business Improvement District (SSHBID), hosts of the Egg Hunt, the rescheduling provides additional time to groom the beaches following the series of nor-easters experienced at the shore. The more than 2,000 plastic eggs containing coupons for prizes at Seaside Heights businesses are buried in the sand for children to discover during the hunt.

There is no charge for the Egg Hunt and on-street parking is free March 31. The organizers recommend that egg hunters bring a basket or small bag in which to collect the eggs. For the safety of the children, only children are allowed in the hunt "corrals." Parents are able to watch their children from the Boardwalk by the controlled hunt entrances.
