Blue FishOpen season: Jan 1 - Dec 31 Bluefish are one of the most sought after recreational fish at the Jersey Shore. Bluefish migrate up and down the Atlantic coast from Maine to Florida. They migrate north during the spring and summer months and during the fall and winter months they migrate south.
Bluefish can live for about 12 years and can grow to about 40 inches and weigh as much as 30 pounds.
Bluefish are voracious predators that feed on a wide variety of live baits and artificial lures.
