The Simon Kidgits Club will whip up an afternoon of fun at Ocean County Mall as it hosts a free Super Duper Mini Chefs event from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 5, 2010 in Center Court.
Families are invited to roll up their sleeves and join in the culinary activities designed to teach kids creativity with food, as well as kitchen safety, food preparation basics and table manners.
During the event, children will make pasta art jewelry and Trail Mix Delight, create delicious treats with eateries in the mall and participate in additional fun activities. Children will also receive A Kid’s Life! and Strawberry Shortcake™-themed coloring sheets as well as a Strawberry Shortcake doll.
Members of the Simon Kidgits Club will also receive a free chef’s set, containing a mini rolling pin, cookie cutters, measuring spoons and a whisk, while supplies last.
Kids are also encouraged to donate a non-perishable food item to help stock the shelves of The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
