Coastal Defenses Day
Fort Hancock Parade Ground. Volunteers from the Army Ground Forces Association in World War II uniform bring Battery Gunnison and its 6-inch guns to life in May 1943. See how soldiers lived and worked at Fort Hancock. The Roseland Amateur Radio Club will also be conducting shortwave radio broadcasts at the Sandy Hook Lighthouse.
