Autumn de Forest – The Power of She

Ocean Galleries welcomes Autumn de Forest to Stone Harbor, NJ over Labor Day weekend with an all new collection of paintings. “Autumn de Forest – The Power of She” opens Friday, August 31 through Monday, September 3. The exhibit includes many fun-loving sea creature images, a variety of floral-themed art, as well as imagery inspired by her studies of dreams and psychology. Meet the 16-year-old artist at receptions 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM on Friday, August 31, Saturday, September 1, and Sunday, September 2.

The Discovery Channel has called Autumn an “artistic genius” and she has been confirmed as a “profound artistic prodigy” by a leading child prodigy researcher. De Forest’s art education originated with studying the Masters, inspired by Warhol, Picasso, O’Keeffe, Matisse, Lichtenstein, and others.

Her decade long career, Autumn’s extraordinary path has been distinguished by a myriad of achievements, including being the youngest artist in history to have a solo exhibition at a major American museum and being honored at the Vatican for her profound influence on arts and culture. She is the youngest artist ever to be appointed to the President's Committee for The Arts and Humanities.

Having achieved tremendous success at such a young age, Autumn’s greatest ability is the power to inspire with her humorous and articulate observations and insights into art, life, and creativity.

Autumn de Forest – The Power of She” is open 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM August 31 to September 3. The exhibition is free with all artwork available for acquisition.
